I’ve always attested that I was never in a band as good as the Dead Messengers in the summer/fall of 2007. For a few brief months, everything was clicking in a way that it never had before, and sadly, never did again. I’ve always felt proud of the musicians backing me on stage, but in late 2007, things were on another level. Our August 23 show at Bordello, in Downtown L.A., is a glimpse of that era. This live recording captures the debut of one of our most popular songs, “Typewriter”.
